CAMBUILD 2018

CAMBUILD 2018 – Cambodia’s Biggest International Building, Construction and M&E Exhibition willto take place from 12^th to 14^th September 2018 at DIECC in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Over 350 exhibitors including Pavilions from China, Japan, India, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore are expected to showcase the complete range of technology, equipment and supplies.

The event will be the driving force in introducing the latest building, construction and M&E technology, processes and innovation in improving efficiency and quality. It is where developers, architects, contractors, designers and engineers look for inspiration in new design trends and ideas. 

The Building and Construction Industry in Cambodia is booming, registering an average of over 20% growth yearly since 2014. Cambodia posted a 22% year-on-year growth to US$6.8 billion in the combined value of approved investments in the construction industry in 2017. It was reported by the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction that the combined total of projects approved throughout the country amounted to 3,418 projects in 2017. A breakdown of it showed residential projects taking up the bulk of it with 82%, and commercial projects made up 8%.With record foreign and local investments in the commercial, residential and industrial sectors, 2018 is poised to be another record year. The construction and building sector is going through major changes as consumers demand quality construction and materials with the emphasis on “Green Architecture”.

Adopting the theme: “GREEN CONSTRUCTION AND ARCHITECTURE”, CAMBUILD 2018 aims to support the Government’s initiative in promoting green building and architecture and will showcase the latest Green Products, Technology and Architectural Design.

Billed as the biggest gathering of the building, construction and M&E professionals and decision makers in Cambodia, CAMBUILD’18 will once again host the Cambodia Architects Forum organized by the Board of Architects, Cambodia. This Forum will bring together over 300 professional architects from around the country to get updated on the latest regulations and industry trends and issues. It is the only officially recognized gathering which will feature top Government officials and an international panel of well-known architects.
