The 7th Forklift Indonesia 2023 taking place from May 24 – 26, 2023 at Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, Jakarta – Indonesia, will be expanded bigger scale. The expo will be held together with Transport & Logistic Indonesia 2023, ConMine 2023 and IIBT 2023 as an ASEAN leading trade show for transport, logistics, warehousing, material handling, and supply chain industries.

Indonesia with over 270 million of people is in the largest economy in South East Asia. Indonesia’s manufacturing industry contributed of Indonesia Gross estic Product (GDP) grew 7.07% in the 2nd Quarter compared with a year earlier. Another indicator is the purchasing manager’s index (PMI) of Indonesian manufacturing. In September 2022 it was recorded at 53.7, up from 51.7 in August 2022. The results of the S&P Global survey show that the expansion rate of Indonesia’s manufacturing sector in this period was the fastest in 8 months and was solid overall.

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) until the second quarter of 2022, the transportation and warehousing or logistics sector in Indonesia grew 21.27% (yoy). Indonesia Logistics and Warehousing Market is expected to reach US 74.9 billion in terms of revenues by the year 2023 (Ken Research).
