Tata And Daewoo Trucks Introduces Five-Year Warranty On Commercial Vehicle Range In Africa

Tata International’s distribution team recently announced a first-of-its-kind pan-African five-year warranty for the entire range of commercial vehicles sold on the African continent. This includes the range of Tata trucks and buses as well as Daewoo Trucks. Consequently, Tata International becomes the first company in Africa to introduce a best-in-class standard warranty of five years on the entire medium, heavy and extra heavy commercial vehicle range.
Len Brand, CEO of Tata International Africa, shared that this move once again reinforces the company’s commitment to the quality of our products. Africa is known for difficult, harsh and sometimes nonexistent road conditions. “Yes, it is a challenge to operate vehicles under those conditions, but we know that our product range is reliable and resilient. The new warranty will add credence towards Tata International Africa’s pursuit of offering an improved lifecycle advantage to our customers,” said Brand.
The warranty applies to all Tata and Daewoo commercial vehicles first registered on or after November 1, 2020. The warranty is supported across Tata International Africa’s extensive dealership and service network which includes over 450 touchpoint outlets and service facilities across the continent.
