Eight New Powerscreens For KKB Group, UK

Formed by Colin Basi in 1998 and based in Rochester, Kent, KKB Group are specialists in providing niche services to the remediation, recycling, plant hire, plant sales, specialist demolition hire and civil engineering sectors.

They provide bespoke solutions to their clients and have continued to enhance their reputation in key market sectors through securing contracts with existing and new clients, including work generated through frameworks and long-term joint ventures. KKB’s goal is to increase the value and environmental performance of the regeneration and built environment process for each and every one of their clients.

KKB Group have been a long-standing customer for Blue Machinery, with them buying their first machine over 20 years ago. They have recently taken delivery of a further eight machines from Blue, four Powerscreen Warrior 1400X and four Powerscreen Chieftain 1400. The Chieftains have always been the incline screen of choice for KKB due to their patented 4-bearing screenbox and unparalleled reliability. The Warriors have been added to the fleet after positive customer feedback and due to the high production that is achievable through a relatively small machine.

What sets KKB apart from their rivals is their focus on ensuring they have the best equipment in their fleet, with their machinery renewed regularly. They also make sure that their equipment has the best possible guarding in order for them to meet rigorous health and safety levels. The combination of running the best machinery and having the highest levels of health and safety, has meant they have become the chosen partners to most of the UK’s biggest aggregate suppliers.

Craig Hore, Plant Director at KKB Group adds his thoughts on Blue – ‘We have been building a great relationship Blue Machinery and Matt, I have no doubt that the purchase of these machines for our screening fleet will stand us in good stead. The availability of parts and product knowledge at their Spares company was a big factor for us’

Matt Scott, Senior Sales Manager for Blue Machinery Southern comments on the deal with KKB: ‘To receive an order of this size from a prestigious company like KKB is a huge honour for us. KKB, and their customers, demand the absolute best in terms of machine quality and back up, so we are very happy they have put their trust in Blue and Powerscreen.’
