Metso launches My Plant Planner on-line configurator
Metso My Plant Planner Metso is introducing a drag and drop 3D crushing and screening plant configurator that enables professionals in the mining and aggregate industries to design more productive and efficient plants through real-time insights. The design and simulation tool called My Plant Planner is available on metso.com and is free for anyone to use. ”We are really excited about My Plant Planner. Our aim is to help our customers easily test different configurations and operating conditions to see how they affect process performance. The tool allows you to either design and simulate a new crushing and screening plant in 3D or test how upgrading your current equipment can improve performance” explains Guillaume Lambert Vice President Crushing Systems at Metso. My Plant Planner is packed full of unique features and insights to help in the planning of optimized crushing and screening circuits. It is also possible to download a detailed report of the designed plant. The tool is based on proprietary Metso software VPSTM and BrunoTM.Unique to My Plant Planner is the possibility to design and simulate the ideal crushing and screening circuit in the same tool in 3D. The configurator makes it easy to predict general power consumption of the system and to see the footprint of the circuit a feature exclusive to My Plant Planner.

Metso introduces two new game-changing crushing and screening plant concepts for mining
Metso is introducing two new game-changing solutions for the crushing and screening plants in mining: the flexible FITTM stations and the smart ForesightTM stations. The two unique cost efficient and productive solutions will provide significant resource and time savings for the mines. “We have the experience in delivering crushing and screening plants with over one hundred installations globally. We also understand the needs of customers today in the evolving industry. That is why we are using our legacy and expertise to introduce these modularized crushing stations that focus on CAPEX reduction and shorter lead times” says Guillaume Lambert Vice President Crushing Systems at Metso. Unique benefits The new stations offer a wide range of flexible solutions with ease of maintenance and time savings for any operation. The flexible FIT™ stations and smart Foresight™ stations provide unique benefits that set them apart. The FITTM stations are designed with the focus on speed and flexibility. There are two stations to select from: Recrushing station and Jaw station. The steel structures are supplied in modules that fit easily into containers for transportation. This also reduces on-site welding usually required and allows for quicker startup. Container delivery reduces delivery time by up to 25% compared to similar crushing and screening plants. Erection is also reduced by up to 15%. The ForesightTM stations are equipped with smart automation technology including Metso MetricsTM VisioRockTM level sensors and crusher variable-frequency drive (VFD). These features enable optimized crusher speeds preventative maintenance and optimizing of production levels up to 6000 tons per hour. The MP cone crusher station features a scalping MFTM screen and an MPTM Series cone crusher. Terex Finlay introduce two new models to its 6-Series line up of inclined screens
Terex Finlay are delighted to announce the launch of the new 696 inclined screen. Available in three or two deck variants these models have been developed to provide a superior high production screening solution in quarrying mining sand and gravel coal woodchip and topsoil applications. Terex Finlay 696 3-deck inclined screen The new high energy screenbox is the largest in the Terex Finlay triple deck inclined range and features three full size 6.1m x 1.7m (20’ x 5’ 7”) decks to give a total screening area of 31.1m² (335ft²). The large 8m³ (10.5yd³) large hopper feeder is fitted with variable speed belt feeder to ensure consistent flow of material and can be fitted with remote tipping grid or double deck vibrating grid. The fourth product oversize plus conveyor has hydraulic variable tilt and slew discharge for re-circulating to secondary crusher or stockpiling of finished material. The compact transport envelope enables the machine to be transported between jobsites with ease. Hybrid powerpack is available as an option. Key features: Intuitive and simple folding mechanism for the onboard product conveyors for ease of deployment and onsite movement. Hydraulic folding catwalks as standard for improved onsite efficiency and to enable rapid screenbox deployment. Efficient and optimized power The hydraulics system on both machines has been engineered to provide the optimum balance of power and efficiency and the powerpack has been designed to operate at lower engine speeds to raise cost-efficiency in the long term without compromising on performance. Hybrid technology Both models are available with a hybrid powerpack option. The hybrid powerpack option is based upon an electrichydraulic drive system that enable operators to connect the machine to a secondary electrical supply on site to provide even greater flexibility and energy efficiency ultimately resulting in significant fuel savings.
