Hyundai R850LC-9 excavators are known for quick effortless manoeuvrability and high productivity. R850LC-9 85T excavators have advanced Tier 3 engine technology for fuel efficiency and hydraulic system improvements ensure enhanced performance smoother operation and precision-control. A newly-designed pump compartment controls functions like two speed travel power boost auto boom-swing priority and a safety lock. The strengthened undercarriage improves performance of these machines in arduous operating conditions particularly in the mining and quarrying sectors. Durable covers have been specially designed for these machines to protect travel motors and hoses against damage from rocks. HPE Africa’s Hyundai R1250-9 excavators are available with an operating weight of 118 000 kg an engine output of 567 kW at 1 800 rpm and a maximum travel speed of 32 kmhr. Features for precision control include a smart auto boom-swing priority computer-aided power (CAPO) and an improved hydraulic system. Hyundai’s advanced CAPO system interfaces with multiple sensors throughout the hydraulic system as well as the electronically controlled engine to provide the optimum level of engine power and hydraulic flow for maximum performance and productivity. This system also provides complete self-diagnostic features and digital gauges for critical information including hydraulic oil and water temperatures and fuel levels. Operators are able to easily select the correct power mode for specific applications. For example P (Power Max) mode maximises machine speed and power for mass production. S (Standard) mode provides a reduced fixed rpm for optimum performance greater control and improved fuel economy. E (Economy) mode provides precise flow and engine power based on load demand. By using the versatile U (User) mode the operator can customise engine speed pump output idle speed and other precise machine settings for the specific job. Hyundai HL770 and HL780 wheel loaders which offer precise operation and easy control are perfectly suited to arduous terrain and difficult handling requirements. According to HPE Africa users are not only impressed with the durability and low fuel-consumption of these robust machines but maintenance requirements are minimal. Operators note clear visibility during operation and greater comfort. The minimal yet effective electronics system also provides push-button control of the jaw track and feeder functions. With both level and load sensors this machine ensures efficient material handling in all applications. “These J45 jaw crushers have a deep jaw chamber and an aggressive toggle design for high productivity. McCloskey equipment also has considerably more room for maintenance than other brands on the market making servicing of these machines quick and easy for service staff.” Heavy-duty McCloskey J45 jaw crushers have a 1 140 mm (45”) x 688 mm (27”) single toggle jaw ensuring efficient handling of materials in all applications including tough conditions. This high-performance crusher also has a heavy-duty bofar grizzly design and pan feeder chutes with steeper angles designed to reduce material sticking to the chutes. A high-capacity hopper with 6 m³ capacity is mounted over a vibrating feeder. The feeder rate can be regulated manually or automatically by a load-sensing jaw. The main conveyor is fitted with heavy-duty skirting positioned close to ground level for ease of access and maintenance. An optional independent pre-screen maximises efficiency of the crusher and delivers the screened product via a side conveyor with a 2.5 m stockpile height. Doosan Infracore Launches Next Generation of DL-7 Series Wheel Loaders

First complete shake-up of DL- design in years results in best-in-class performance and improved driver convenience. DI plans to launch new DL-7 series worldwide starting with the European market. On May 26 Doosan Infracore announced that it had launched the DL-7 series its new lineup of next-generation wheel loaders featuring improved performance and efficiency in their key function of moving soil sand and aggregate among other materials at civil engineering construction sites. Designed to meet the latest European Stage-V* exhaust regulations the new series of DL-7 wheel loaders constitutes the first complete shake-up of the company’s existing models in ten years with the exterior design in particular undergoing a complete transformation some 30 years after Doosan Infracore rolled out its first wheel loader in 1989. * Stage-V: The 2019 EU emissions regulations enforced to curb the fine chemical emissions of diesel engines. Equipped with the largest bucket in its class the DL-7 series boasts significant improvements in the performance and efficiency of its engine power fuel economy steering system and electronic control system. Thanks to the application of a reinforced axle the latest model demonstrates superb performance even in high-load environments while its hydraulic system and major parts offer greatly improved durability and maintainability. The new model also boasts significantly reduced levels of noise and tremor due to the application of a center shaft and a damper offering excellent durability and rigidity. Operator convenience has been further improved as blind spots around the cabin have been minimized while the glass window is 14% larger than that of previous models thereby maximizing the operator’s field of vision. For the first time in the industry the DL-7 series features an ergonomic operation panel and a semi-automatic door function using a smart key further enhancing the operator’s comfort. The new series will eventually be equipped with a transparent bucket - a state-of-the-art safety technology that will enable the operator to see through the bucket – as an optional feature starting with the wheel loaders rolled out in Korea in 2021. The new model has won Germany's 2020 iF Design Award one of the world's top three design awards in recognition of its innovative design which focuses on highlighting a three-dimensional effect and the consequent dynamic image of the equipment while dispensing with the traditional method dependent on bending a steel plate. At the end of 2019 the model won the “Best of the Best” in the Korean PIN UP Design Awards. Doosan Infracore has applied the new design concept to all ten models of the DL-7 series as a family look. Cat GC Medium Wheel Loader The new CAT GC Wheel Loader is designed for reliable performance and long-term durability in a wide range of applications as well as for various tasks in governmental applications that require a capable versatile machine that fits the budget. The Cat C9.3B engine with a maximum gross power rating of 239 kW (321 horsepower) and emitting equivalent to U.S. EPA Tier 3EU Stage IIIA emission levels features a new common-rail fuel injection system designed for fuels available in emerging markets. An electronically controlled hydraulically driven variable speed cooling fan combined with the Cat Engine Idle Management System results in lower fuel consumption and reduced sound levels. An optional automatic reversing fan assists in cleaning cooling cores in high-debris environments. A high-ambient cooling package and cold-start system also are available. The new loader uses a 4F4R electronically controlled planetary powershift transmission designed and built by Caterpillar and featuring an electronic clutch pressure-compensated single clutch shifting system for smooth efficient gear changes in all operating situations. A range of available work tools includes a selection of Cat Performance Series buckets (general purpose rock and light material configurations) which incorporate a long floor wide opening and curved side plates. These design features enable operators of all experience levels to routinely attain 10 percent higher bucket-fill factors compared with legacy designs improving cycle times and reducing fuel consumption. The Cat Fusion™ quick coupler and controls also are available and combined with optional third-function auxiliary hydraulics the coupler allows use of a wide selection of Cat work tools. The 966 GC control system includes an operator interface display with five analog-like gauges color indicator lights and an LCD screen. Low-effort pilot-operated implement controls feature a remote kick down switch for best operating comfort. Inclined ladders and integrated handrails are located on both sides of the machine to provide access to the cab and to the engine air filter. A large roof-to-floor distortion-free flat glass front windshield; standard rearview camera; and exterior mirrors with integrated spot mirrors provide all-around visibility. Air conditioning with 10 louvered vents is also a standard feature. Ground level access to grouped service points reduces maintenance time and large gull-wing engine hood side panels and a tilt-up rear grill provide unrestricted access to daily service points greasing points filters and fluid-sampling ports.
