25 Tonne All Electric Crane

In May, Zoomlion released details of a 25-tonne electric truck crane, the ZTC250N-EV, described as the world’s first pure electric truck crane. It is equipped with a high-energy storage density LFP battery, a high-efficiency energy management system and a battery management system. Its top travel speed is 90km/h and maximum gradeability is 50%. It’s energy cost may be as little as 35% that of a comparable diesel-powered product in the same class, with zero emissions and low noise output.

It has a range of around 260km, and fits standard charging plugs and industrial sockets to allow customers to charge onsite. A specialised team worked on development of the crane for two years.
