C6T XP-2 – A New Tunneling Drill Rig

New drill rig designed and manufactured for tunneling , foundation drilling and soil investigation operations.

The versatile all positions kinematic is perfect for the execution of micropiles, anchors and drilling operation in tunnels like rock bolts, drains and forepoling.

Dual power version – 140 kW diesel engine and 90 kW electric motor – suitable to operate in every working conditions like inside tunnels.

The drill rig in the class of 15-20 t has been delivered for a special tunnelling project arranged in:

• RH 5X rotary head for drains and forepoling
• T14 EP rotary head and T40 top hammer for micropiles, drains and forepoling
• and with hydraulic chuck and lattice extension.

The drill rig can be operated by full radio remote control as well as by cable remote control.
