Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Wacker Neuson SE confirmed that discussions with Doosan Bobcat Inc. about acquiring a majority ownership in Wacker Neuson, including a possible public buyout offer, have been ended.

The conversations had centered on the possibility of purchasing a majority position in Wacker Neuson, followed by a public buyout bid for the remaining shares.

According to market reports in December, the discussions might have included big owners selling approximately 63% of Wacker Neuson's shares, valuing the control stake at around $2.05 billion.

Based in Munich, Wacker Neuson stated that it will continue to focus on executing its Strategy 2030, which is centered on sustainable growth. The OEM manufactures lightweight and small equipment for construction, industrial, and infrastructure applications.
