Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - BOMAG has developed the BPA 100 and BPA 300 hydraulic attachment compactors, increasing its compaction offering with excavator-mounted solutions for trenching, road construction, and other constrained job sites.
Designed for excavators, the attachments are an effective alternative to rollers and vibrating plates in locations with restricted access. They are effective in compacting sand, gravel, crushed rock, and cohesive soils, resulting in deep, homogeneous compaction.
The BPA 100 is designed for excavators weighing 5 to 12 tonnes and generates 55 kN of centrifugal force, whilst the BPA 300 is intended for machines weighing 14 to 32 tonnes and provides up to 110 kN using a dual-amplitude vibration system.
Both types are compatible with standard fast couplers, offer spot and continuous drag compaction, and may be upgraded with an optional rotator. The attachments increase safety by enabling operators to compact trenches, slopes, and dangerous locations from within the excavator, decreasing the need for hand-guided compaction equipment.
