
Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - More than 140,000 construction professionals from 128 countries attended CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 in Las Vegas, where contractors, manufacturers, and technology businesses showcased equipment and technologies that are influencing the industry's future.
The event, which ran from March 3 to 7, spanned more than 3 million square feet of exhibition area and included over 2,000 exhibitors showing construction machines, digital technology, and services.
Manufacturers showcased a variety of modern equipment, such as earthmoving machines, cranes, and paving systems, as well as digital worksite solutions centered on automation, connection, and sustainability.
Companies also used innovative technology to increase efficiency and accuracy on building sites. Komatsu exhibited advances in intelligent machine control, while LiuGong introduced new machines, including an electric excavator, showing the industry's increased emphasis on low-emission equipment.
Topcon Positioning Systems and Samsara were among the technology suppliers that demonstrated digital technologies for improving equipment monitoring, machine control, and worksite administration.
The event's Next Level Awards also recognized innovation, with participants selecting Husco's GenSteer system as the outstanding equipment innovation and Gravis Robotics' Gravis Rack as the finest technology.
The show also included over 150 educational seminars on issues such as artificial intelligence, workforce development, sustainability, and infrastructure investment.
According to the organizers, the event will continue to serve as a worldwide forum for the construction sector to promote new technology, expand collaborations, and explore solutions for future infrastructure projects.
The next CONEXPO-CON/AGG is set to take place in Las Vegas from March 13 to 17, 2029.
