Manitou Secures £40 Million Order From Ardent Hire

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Ardent Hire Solutions has confirmed that they will spend £40 million on more than 450 Manitou telehandlers. This is the biggest single order of its kind in the UK.

The new machines will be delivered starting in early 2026. The telehandler units will be able to lift heights ranging from 4 to 20 meters.

Ardent is making this investment as part of its plan to grow its fleet and meet the growing demand in UK’s housing, construction, and infrastructure sectors. Utilities, logistics, and industrial operations are just a few of the fields where the telehandlers will be used.

Ardent has had Manitou telehandlers in its fleet for a long time. After this order, they will make up more than 30% of the company's total telehandler lineup.
