Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - XCMG has delivered two XE950D crawler excavators to a Maaden mining facility in Saudi Arabia, providing a pair of 93-tonne machines for heavy excavation.

The XE950D is intended for large-scale mining and quarrying operations that demand great digging capacity and continuous operation. The heavy-duty crawler undercarriage and massive working equipment are designed for bulk excavation, heavy debris removal, and loading material onto off-highway vehicles.

XCMG will supply spares, technical support, and operator training for the excavators when they go into operation.

The delivery strengthens XCMG's mining equipment position in Saudi Arabia, where huge excavators, rigid and wide-body mining trucks, loaders, and other high-capacity machinery are rapidly being deployed as the Kingdom's mineral output grows.

Maaden mines and processes phosphate, gold, aluminum, and industrial minerals, making it one of Saudi Arabia's major heavy mining equipment operators.
