Dubai South Contract To Al Kharafi For HAYAT Project

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Dubai South Properties has awarded a contract for around $545 million to Mohammed Abdulmohsin Al Kharafi & Sons LLC to execute various stages of the HAYAT master-planned community.

The contractor will carry out construction on the project, which will cover around 10 million square feet and contain approximately 2,500 residential units, including townhouses, semi-detached and freestanding villas, mansions, flats, and hotel apartments.

Located near Al Maktoum International Airport, the development will provide access to essential infrastructure such as Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Emirates Road, Jebel Ali Free Zone, and Dubai South Free Zone.

Construction is set to begin in the second quarter of 2026, with the earliest stages projected to be finished by 2028.
