Riyadh Kicks Off First Phase Of Expo 2030 Infrastructure

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - The first phase of infrastructure work for Expo 2030 Riyadh has begun in Saudi Arabia. The Expo 2030 Riyadh Company has requested local and international companies to bid on the first set of jobs.

These companies include big Saudi contractors like Al Saif Engineering, Al Ayuni Investment & Contracting, Al Yamama Trading & Contracting, Pan Kingdom, Unimac, and Shibh Al Jazira Contracting.

International companies taking part include Turkish companies Kolin, Yuksel, and Maya, as well as companies from Egypt and Portugal that are working with Saudi companies.

The first package covers the main utility and infrastructure corridors. These are split into three main groups: the Main Utility Corridor, the Northern Cluster, and the Southern Cluster of the Natural Corridor.

Bechtel is overseeing the 6-square-kilometer project site, which is north of Riyadh and close to where the King Salman International Airport is going to be built.
