Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Rezaik Abdullah Al Gedrawy Company has been given the task of building the Diyar AlMahash residential project by AlUla Development Company (UDC), which is part of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF).
The agreement includes both the final design and the construction, which is a big step forward in UDC's plan to improve AlUla's housing and hospitality infrastructure.
The development will have 568 units, including rooms, studios, and one- and two-bedroom apartments, for more than 1,000 hospitality workers. It will have a gym, a prayer room, swimming pools, a minimarket, walking paths, and landscaped outdoor areas that are inspired by AlUla's desert environment.
The construction work on Diyar AlMahash will start in 2025 and be done by 2027. The architectural design of the project will be based on AlUla's cultural and natural heritage.
UDC's goal of obtaining LEED Gold certification for the project highlights its emphasis on energy-efficient design and sustainable building practices.
