Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Chery C&C Trucks and Wanda Bus have officially entered the Saudi market in conjunction with Khaled Juffali Company, with the goal of supplying commercial vehicles to meet the Kingdom's growing logistics and transportation demands.
The move comes as Saudi Arabia ramps up investment in infrastructure, freight transportation, and passenger mobility as part of larger economic diversification plans.
Bus transportation is critical in the kingdom, facilitating large-scale religious travel linked with the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages, increased tourism activities, and long-distance interstate transit throughout Saudi Arabia's massive road network.
At the event, the firms displayed Chery C&C Trucks' U480 tractor unit, a 4x2 heavy-duty variant with a 480-horsepower engine and optimized for long-haul operations.
Chery C&C Trucks debuted in 2009 as a heavy-duty truck brand created by China's Chery Automobile in collaboration with CIMC.
