Tata Motors Showcases EV Trucks And Buses In South Africa

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - In Cape Town, South Africa, Tata Motors has shown eleven commercial vehicles, showcasing its newest electric trucks, buses, and cutting-edge transportation innovations for African markets.

The lineup included electric commercial vehicles such as the Tata Ace Pro EV, Intra EV, Ultra E.9 truck and Prima E28.K electric tipper, alongside diesel trucks and buses designed for logistics, mining, urban transport and intercity operations.

The Azura truck line targeted at regional transport applications and the new Ultra Prime RE rear-engine city bus were also on display.

According to Tata Motors, the event demonstrates the company's emphasis on application-specific mobility solutions, reduced operational costs, and environmentally friendly transportation technology for global markets.

With more than 340,000 commercial vehicles sold in the area and more than 320 customer service touchpoints, the company now operates in 29 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
