Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Astec Africa Middle East, in collaboration with Telestack Limited, has received a contract to deliver ship loading equipment to Autoforce (PTY) Ltd of Namibia.

The project, which is being facilitated by Astec's Johannesburg Regional Hub, will comprise the supply of an HF 18 Wheeled Hopper Feeder and a TB 58 Radial Telescopic Ship Loader with a 12-metre freefall chute and a 360-degree trimmer.

The system can handle up to 1,500 tonnes of iron and manganese ore per hour, making it suitable for loading Handy and Supramax boats.

The project intends to improve port efficiency and material handling capacity in Namibia, as part of Astec and Telestack's continued partnership in the regional logistics and infrastructure sectors.
