Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Barrick Mining Corporation and Komatsu have reached a deal worth roughly $440 million to deliver main mining equipment to the Reko Diq copper gold mine in Pakistan. Deliveries are set to begin in 2026 and will cover the first five years of the project's construction.

Komatsu will deliver a fleet of large-scale mining equipment, including 980E-5 ultra-class haul trucks, P&H 4100XPC AC electric rope shovels, PC7000-11 mining excavators, and WE2350-2 electric wheel loaders.

Komatsu formed a new organization, Komatsu Pakistan Mining Limited, to provide service and technical assistance at Reko Diq.
