Sandvik Secures Equipment Order In Colombia

Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Sandvik Mining has received a substantial order from Aris Mining to deliver underground equipment for the development of its Marmato operation in Colombia.

The order comprises loaders, underground trucks, and a variety of drilling equipment for development, production, and longhole operations.

In addition to equipment delivery, the agreement includes maintenance and repair services to ensure equipment availability and long-term performance.

Sandvik stated that the deal shows continued cooperation between the two firms and supports Aris Mining's goals to expand operations while increasing efficiency and safety.

The companies are also looking at deeper collaboration in areas including automation, digital technology, and mining optimisation.
