Dubai (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Lafarge Emirates Cement has formally renamed as Holcim UAE, indicating a major shift in the company's development and long-term commitment to sustainable building in the UAE.

The shift supports Holcim's worldwide aim to create low-carbon, circular, and high-performance building solutions in key areas such as infrastructure and urban development.

As Holcim UAE, the company will prioritize increasing industrial decarbonization and supporting national sustainability targets such as the UAE Net Zero 2050 plan. Its activities include scaling up low-carbon materials like ECOPact concrete and circular technologies like ECOCycle, which seek to improve resource efficiency and reduce emissions.
